The Great Muta to Undergo Double Knee Replacement

– Keiji Mutoh (The Great Muta) announced today that he would be undergoing a double knee replacement surgery next month. Muta noted that he did not know whether he would be able to return to the ring after the surgery, but would make his best effort to do so. Muta, 55, is looked at by many US fans as their gateway into Japanese wrestling thanks to his early NWA/WCW appearances. On behalf of 411, I’d like to send my wishes to him for a speedy recovery…
