Mick Foley Discusses a Possible WWE Return

The Hardcore Legend, New York Times best-selling author and comedian Mick Foley sat down and spoke with Duane Doogan from #WrestlingVoice (available now on iTunes and WrestlingVoice.net) talking about his raffle for RAINN giving fans the chance to have him come and watch a WWE event with you, his comedy performances and whether or not he’s spoken with WWE about a return, his UK tour and more.

After revealing that his UK Tour Dates coincide with the WWE’s UK Tour, Mick said it’s possible he may make a guest appearance and that he will more than likely end up with the company again. I asked him since he is open to return has there been any official talks between himself and the WWE: “We’ve definitely been talking and it’s just a matter of what’s the best fit, how many days I feel like being gone. Unlike TNA, if you weren’t on the show you weren’t a value to the company… with WWE there is any number of things I could do, so we’re just trying to find out what we want it to be and how big we want it to be.

On whether he has many more big matches left in him. “Maybe a couple more big matches, I’m starting to shed some of that extra weight so if and when I get that call I can have a good match, maybe not a great match but maybe I’ve got a couple more matches left in me.”

He also talks about whether his comedy is suited for just wrestling fans, how his son was shocked when somebody in the airport referred to him as “Mick Foley from TNA” and his upcoming benefit gig to help Shane Helms cover his medical and personal expenses following his motorbike accident, the benefit gig takes place on October 5th in Charlotte, NC and Mick stated he’s going to try and get Ric Flair to come down and talk at the event.
