Update on Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title Run, Dates He’s Scheduled to Work

– During a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio (via WrestlingInc.com), Dave Meltzer discussed Brock Lesnar’s current WWE status as the Universal champion. Lesnar is currently scheduled to defend the title at Great Balls of Fire in Dallas, Texas on July 9. Additionally, he’s also scheduled to work Summerslam in August. Outside of those two events, Lesnar’s other WWE dates have not yet been mapped out.

Meltzer said that Lesnar is likely to face both Seth Rollins and Finn Balor at some point down the line before WrestleMania 34. He also noted that Lesnar is expected to face Braun Strowman in July. Additionally, Meltzer stated that Lesnar will be working more dates for his current Universal title run than when he held the WWE world title from 2014-2015 for seven months.
