Update on Rumored Mighty Mouse Gimmick For Adrian Neville
March 19, 2015 | Posted by
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via rajah.com), here is the update on the rumored “Mighty Mouse” gimmick for former NXT Champion Adrian Neville. The idea wasn’t specifically for Neville, as Vince McMahon has reportedly wanted to do a “Mighty Mouse” underdog type of character with a small wrestler for a while. They considered the role for American freestyle wrestler (and Olympic gold medallist) Henry Cejudo, but he opted to sign with the UFC. Cejudo (who fights at 125 pounds) currently has an MMA record of 8-0, going 2-0 in the UFC so far.
