WWE House Show Results 07.05.11 – Brisbane, Australia

Here is a report from tonight’s show. Overall, the wrestling was very good. It wasn’t sold out, but there was a good crowd.

The show opened with The Brisbane Cup Battle Royal. The winner got a WWE Title shot later in the show. CM Punk did a promo before the match saying he would win the match and he did.

Kelly Kelly and Beth Phoenix beat The Bellas.

Evan Bourne beat Jack Swagger.

Rey Mysterio beat The Miz with the 619.

Kelly Kelly hosted the dance off. I went to get some food.

David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty beat Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov to retain the WWE Tag Titles.

Dolph Ziggler beat Kofi Kingston to retain the United States Title with a roll up. Dolph went to attack Kofi after the match but got hit with Trouble in Paradise.

John Cena beat CM Punk in a long match, almost a half hour. It seemed like they were preparing for the PPV here. Very good match.

After the match Punk did a promo putting over Cena for his work ethic and took a shot at The Rock. Cena then did a promo putting over Punk. It was interesting.
