Your ring announcers are Dasha Fuentes and Zahra. Greg Hamilton is the MC for the evening.

* Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady def. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. Always a fun match between these two teams. Great way to kick off the show.

* Uhaa Nation def. Angelo Dawkins. Decent stuff here. Uhaa has incredible agility for a guy with his build. Dawkins did a lot of trash talking, which showed me there is some personality there.

Post Match: Tye Dillinger rated the match a 0.

* The Vaudevillains came out to promote the fact that they are the number 1 contenders and are coming to take the tag titles. This brought Blake and Murphy out (sans Alexa Bliss) who enjoyed taunting the crowd and the Vaudevillains. They sucker punched English and Gotch, but as they were celebrating, The Vaudevillains came back, ran the champs off, and celebrated with the crowd.

* The Hype Bros def. Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. Really enjoyable match. Keep an eye on Chad Gable. He has some real good potential.

– Baron Corbin def. Mike Rallis. Most of the match was Baron toying with Rallis, while Rallis would use his power to try and make a comeback, only to fail in the end. Mediocre match. Mike Rallis is an intriguing prospect. He has a lot of physical tools, but just needs more time to put it all together. A year from now, he could find himself as an important player on the NXT roster.

* Bayley def. Eva Marie. This was a better match than most might expect. Eva didn’t look lost in there. When she’s on offense, she looks alright. She’s added some moves and has a nice tilt-a-whirl headscissors that I would be stunned to see the old Eva Marie pull off. It doesnt hurt to have Bayley selling for her as well. When Eva has to sell, she looks a bit stiff and awkward and her spacing can be a bit off, like she’s having to think about each step instead of reacting naturally to it. The good news is that it’s an improvement over what she used to be and all of her issues can be hammered out with time and experience.

* Bull Dempsey def. Tye Dillinger. Lots of comedy stuff early on, but not a whole lot of it based around Bull’s weight. The Perfect 10 gimmick is great for Dillinger and looks like the hook he’s been needing to get his career in NXT moving forward.

* Solomon Crowe came out for a quick promo talking about how he would die in the ring for the fans and that his focus for the rest of the year is the NXT title.

* Carmella and Lina def. Dana Brooke and Cassie. Decent stuff. It’s interesting to Lina working as a babyface. With her look, her music, and her costuming, she feels much better suited as a heel. Since she isn’t on tv though, I imagine they’re just testing out some different things. As for the in ring work, it was solid. It’s a positive sign since all four of these women will have to play more prominent roles in the future with the recent call ups.

* Finn Balor def. Tyler Breeze. Great match, great main event. These two always work well together.

Notes:

* The show was completely sold out. No return date was announced

* To the best of my knowledge, this is Eva Marie’s first time working an NXT house show.

* Meet and Greet before the show was with Dana Brooke, Baron Corbin, and Bayley.
