Tecia Torres Says Raquel Pennington Agrees With Cornerman’s Decision to Continue Fighting at UFC 224

According to Tecia Torres, Raquel Pennington agrees with her cornerman’s call to have her continue her fight with Amanda Nunes at UFC 224. Torres posted to Twitter to issue a statement on Pennington’s behalf saying she, Torres and her coaches agreed with the decision to go into round five after Pennington was seen on camera telling her corner to call the fight between rounds.

Nunes said after the fight that Pennington’s corner “should have listened to her.” Nunes won the fight in round five via TKO.
