South Park Returning With Hour-Long ‘Pandemic Special,’ First Promo Online

South Park is returning with later this month with an hour-long episode known as “The Pandemic Special.” The series has released a promo revealing that the Pandemic Special will premiere on September 30th at 8 PM ET/PT on Comedy Central.

The special is described as follows:

“Randy comes to terms with his role in the COVID-19 outbreak as the on-going pandemic presents continued challenges to the citizens of South Park. The kids happily head back to school but nothing resembles the normal that they once knew; not their teachers, not their homeroom, not even Eric Cartman.”
