Sharon Stone In Talks to Play Villain In DC’s Blue Beetle Movie

Sharon Stone is set to get her DC on, as she’s reportedly in talks to play the villain in Blue Beetle. The Wrap reports that the actress is in early discussions to play Victoria Kord in the upcoming movie, joining Xolo Maridueña who will play the title role.

Victoria is a new character created for the film. Victoria Kord would assumedly be related in some way to Ted Kord, the second Blue Beetle.

Angel Manuel Soto is set to direct the movie from a script by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. Also set for the film are George Lopez, Adriana Barraza, Elpidia Carrillo, Damián Alcázar, Belissa Escobedo, Bruna Marquezine and Harvey Guillén. It is expected to hit theaters on August 18th, 2023.
