Tiffany Stratton Retains Women’s United States Title With Charlotte Flair Assist At WWE Night of Champions

Tiffany Stratton got an assist at WWE Night of Champions against Jade Cargill as Chelsea Green and Charlotte Flair helped counter the Baddies. Stratton put her WWE Women’s United States Championship on the line against Cargill at Saturday morning’s PLE, a match that saw Stratton put to the test against the woman who defeated her for the WWE Women’s Championship last year.

Late in the match, Cargill got an assist from B-Fab and Michin who came out to try and help their leader pick up the win. However, Green came out from under the ring and took the two out. The chaos left the WWE Women’s United States Championship in the ring and as the ref was distracted, Cargill went for it. However, Flair showed up and snatched the title away, clobbering Cargill with it through the ropes. Stratton then hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the win to retain the title in about seven and a halve minutes.

You can see clips from the WWE Night of Champions match below. Strattons’ Women’s United States Championship reign now stands at 64 days. She defeated Giulia to claim the title on the April 24th episode of WWE Smackdown.
