SummerSlam Qualifying Match Added For Next Week’s WWE Smackdown

The final qualifier for the Interim WWE Women’s Title Ladder Match at SummerSlam will take place on next week’s WWE Smackdown. As noted, Charlotte Flair and Chelsea Green qualified on last night’s episode of Smackdown for the five-woman ladder match, leaving just one spot open. Flair qualified when she defeated Nia Jax by disqualification due to an attack by Jade Cargill.

In a video posted to the WWE Twitter account, Nia Jax confronted Adam Pearce after the show. Livid that she had lost both her qualifiers due to disqualification that was not her fault, she demanded another qualifying match. However, Pearce said he couldn’t do that and instead announced that Lash Legend will face Giulia in the final qualifier.

The winner of the match will join Flair, Green, Tiffany Stratton, and Jade Cargill in the SummerSlam match. You can see the updated card below for next week’s WWE Smackdown, which takes place from the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The show airs live on USA Network in the US and Netflix internationally.
