Earlier this month, a new video game based on the Evil Dead franchise was announced, with Bruce Campbell set to reprise his role as Ash Williams. The previously released trailer also featured footage of an in-game version of Kelly Maxwell from the Ash vs. Evil Dead TV series. Actress Dana DeLorenzo has now confirmed that she will be reprising her role as Kelly from the show and will be voicing the digital version of her character.

DeLorenzo tweeted, “It’s official: I’ll be voicing Kelly Maxwell in @EvilDeadTheGame! Get the deli slicers and F-bombs ready, because I’m gonna kick some serious Deadite ass in 2021! You’re gonna need another wooden hand… @BossTeamGames #AshVsEvilDead #WannaPlay ?”

The upcoming game is due out next year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series 4, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. It’s slated to feature co-op and PVP modes.

In the Evil Dead: The Game, players will face Deadites through multiple locations from the films and utilize over 25 weapons, such as Ash’s gauntlet, the Boomstick, and his chainsaw. It will also feature skill trees to level up against the Deadites.
