Transformers: Beyond Reality Arrives on PS VR and Steam VR Next Month

During today’s Fan First Friday Livestream, the Hasbro Transformers brand team announced that the new first-person VR shooter, Transformers: Beyond Reality, will be hitting PlayStation VR and Steam VR next month. A new gameplay clip was also released, which you can see below.

Beyond Reality is described as an “arcade-style first-person VR shooter” that puts players in the role of a human ally who is fighting alongside the Autobots against the Decepticons, including Megatron, Shockwave, Starscream, and Soundwave.

Players will be armed with hybrid Cybertronian/Terran armor and weaponry as they fight alongside the Autobots. The new gameplay footage offers an in-game look at Megatron, Grimlock, and Barricade. Players will fight on both Earth and Cybertron.

The new game is developed by Meta4 Interactive under license with Hasbro and the Canadian Media Fund. It will be available on PSVR and Steam VR on March 31.
