Andrea Lee Comments On Husband’s Domestic Violence Charge

In a post on social media, Andrea Lee asked for privacy after her husband, MMA coach Donny Aaron, was charged with one count of domestic battery abuse and one count of false imprisonment by the Shreveport, Louisiana Police Department earlier this week. Lee was the alleged victim of the crimes.

MMA Junkie reports that Andy Nguyen, a friend of Lee’s filed a police report after Aaron tried to burn her with a cigarette and choke her after they had an argument on August 4. The two have been married for five years and have one child together. Photos were taken and detectives have been notified.

She wrote:

In an added statement to MMA Junkie, she said: “I’m not going to talk about it right now. I’m trying to move forward with things for my family. It’s not going to affect my UFC career.“
