February 25, 2019 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Dillon Danis’ role in the UFC 229 brawl that saw Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov suspended and fined has been made official. MMAjunkie reports that the NSAC ruled on Monday that Danis has been suspended for seven months and fined $7,500. Danis must pay the fine in full before he can be licensed in the state.

Danis was one of McGregor’s cornermen at the event and did not appear at Monday’s monthly meeting of the comission. His representative did not object to the proposed settlement. The suspension is retroactive to the October 6th PPV, which means Danis can return on May 6th.

McGregor was suspended six months and fined $50,000 for his role in the melee, while Nurmagomedov was suspended nine months and fined $500,000.
