Fedor Emelianenko got his final win in Japan at Bellator 237 and is looking at his next couple of fights as his last. The MMA legend spoke to media (per MMA Weekly) after his defeat of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson at the Bellator event on Saturday. Immediately after his win over Jackson, Emelianenko made comments that suggested he was retiring, noting, “Unfortunately and regretfully I want to say that perhaps my career stops here on my win in Japan where I started and I’m finishing my career here.” However, it appears he was speaking specifically about his time in the country.

“I’m doing my tour and these are my final fights. I wanted to do a fight in Japan, I want to do a fight in U.S., and I want to do Russia,” Emelianenko during the post-fight scrum, which you can see below. “So Japan, it was my retirement fight in Japan. So I’m not retiring.”
