The planned lightweight fight between Bobby Green and Jim Miller for UFC 258 has been cancelled. White stated, “Bobby Green just collapsed back there. Doctors are looking at him. They’re trying to re-hydrate him right now.” Officials for the promotion later confirmed that the fight had been cancelled. No details were provided on Green’s health status.

In an Instagram Story post, Green stated that his “kidneys failed” due to his weight cut. He posted, “So to be clear I have air pockets in my lungs, I guess, and my kidneys failed. I messed my back up in training. I thought it was just pain from that.”
