Dana White Comments On Joe Rogan Wanting to Sit Next To Cormier & Anik At UFC 249

At UFC 249 on Saturday night, UFC had Joe Rogan interview fighters in the Octagon after their fights, but did not allow him to sit next to Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik during their commentary as all three had to sit apart as part of social distancing. Rogan commented multiple times during the show that he was not pleased that he wasn’t able to sit next to Cormier and Anik even though UFC tested everyone who worked the show and all the tests came back negative.

After the show, Dana White addressed Rogan’s comments.

“There’s this whole social distancing thing and keeping people away from each other. Everybody here was tested. The people who were still here, we know were negative.”

“We’re still figuring this whole thing out. This was the first one. It was a success. Wednesday will be better. Saturday will be better than that. So on and so forth.”
