UFC Fighter Jim Miller Says No One on the Roster Wants to Fight Him
UFC veteran and lightweight fighter Jim Miller (28-10, MMA; 17-9, UFC) put out a challenge on his Twitter account, laying down lightweight and welterweight fighters on the UFC roster to book a fight with him. You can check out the video and tweet Miller posted below.
Miller wrote, “STILL trying to get a fight. Never thought I’d have to beg someone to bleed with me. @danawhite @seanshelby @ufc @Srock125.” He posted a video from a Sunday training session, where he revealed he’s been trying to get a fight booked with UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby for about five or six weeks. According to Miller, “There’s not a lightweight or welterweight on the roster that wants to fight me in October or November.”
Miller is coming off two back-to-back losses, first losing by unanimous decision to Dustin Poirier at UFC 208. Then he lost by decision to Anthony Pettis at UFC 213 last July.
