Annabelle 3 Set For Summer 2019 Release Date

The third film in the Annabelle franchise is officially in the works with a summer 2019 release date. THR reports that the as-yet-untitled film will release on July 3rd, 2019 with franchise writer Gary Dauberman again taking up the pen, as well as making his directorial debut.

Plot details are under wraps for the film, which follows 2014’s Annabelle and 2017’s Annabelle: Creation. Both films have been commercial successes, grossing $257 million and $306.5 million worldwide, respectively. Dauberman also wrote the upcoming The Nun, also set in the Conjuring universe, which will release on September 7th. He also wrote the script for It and is writing It: Chapter 2.
