Announcement Teaser For Godzilla Minus Zero Revealed

The Godzilla Minus One sequel has an official title, as revealed in an announcement teaser on Sunday. Toho International released the teaser video for the planned follow-up for the Oscar-winning Godzilla film, revealing that the new movie is titled Godzilla Minus Zero.

The reveal was initially made at Godzilla Fest in Japan before the video was shared on Twitter. You can check out the teaser below.

The short video confirms that Takashi Yamazaki is returning as writer, director and visual effects supervisor. Yamazaki’s Shirogumi company, which won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects last year, will be serving in the same role.

Godzilla Minus One became a smash hit in 2023 and grossed $116 million worldwide against a budget of less than $10 million. Plot details on the new film, which was first revealed in November of 2024, are being kept under wraps.

There is, as of yet, no release date scheduled for Godzilla Minus Zero.
