Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirms He Won’t Appear In The Expendables 4

When The Expendables 4 arrives later this year, it will be missing Arnold Schwarzenegger. The action icon appeared in the first three films, but he told Parade that he won’t be appearing in the fourth film that arrives on September 22nd

“It’s done and I’m not in it,” Schwarzenegger told the side. He confirmed that he spoke with franchise star and producer Sylvester Stallone about it, saying, “I said, ‘You know what, we have done this and I’m out of it.’ And he really understood.”

The actor noted that his appearance in the original film was a quick in-and-out, stating, “I did it as a favor to Sly. I shot it on a Saturday for two hours quickly in a church with Bruce Willis.” He also confirmed that he and Stallone plan on appearing again on screen at some point, saying, “We’re going to do something together one day.”

The new film is directed by Scott Waugh and stars franchise regulars Stallone, Jason Statham, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren, along with newcomers 50 Cent, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, and Andy García.
