Ben Affleck Checks Into Rehab in Los Angeles

Ben Affleck has entered rehab after following off the wagon several weeks ago. TMZ reports that Affleck agreed to go to rehab after his ex-wife Jennifer Garner staged an intervention for him. The site reports that Affleck knew that he needed help and was receptive to the intervention.

Affleck has reportedly gotten “progressively worse” since relapsing a while ago, and the deciding factor for Garner was when she saw a picture of Affleck getting a delivery that included beer and liquor. The two left Affleck’s home on Wednesday after Garner stopped by to talk to him, and checked into a live-in rehab facility in L.A. He will stay there for an extended period of time.

Affleck entered rehab in 2001 for alcohol abuse and went back in December of last year.
