Bill Cosby’s Spokesperson Says He’s Popular in Prison

Bill Cosby has a lot of supporters among his prisonmates, according to his spokesperson. TMZ spoke with Andrew Wyatt, who told the site that Cosby is popular with the other inmates and their families.

Wyatt he’s visited his client over a dozen times at State Correctional Institute Phoenix in Pennsylvania, where he’s serving his sentence for sexual assault. According to the spokesperson, Cosby gets cheered by inmates and their families when he enters the visiting area. Wyatt says that the guards call him “Mr. Cosby” and are very respectful of him, with other inmates and visitors telling Cosby that he has a raw deal and shouldn’t be locked up.

Wyatt was the man who told the media when Cosby was sentenced that the trial was “the most racist and sexist trial in the history of the United States.”
