Bob Odenkirk In Stable Condition After Being Rushed to Hospital For Heart Issue

July 28, 2021 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Bob Odenkirk was hospitalized last night for a reported heart issue, and is now in stable condition. THR reports that the actor collapsed on the New Mexico set of Better Call Saul on Tuesday night and was rushed to the hospital.

A statement from Odenkirk’s team noted that the 58 year-old actor is recovering, reading:

“We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident. He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side. The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery.”

Better Call Saul is about halfway through production on its sixth and final season. Odenkirk made a splash on movie screens earlier this year with Nobody, which grossed $57.2 million worldwide against a $16 million budget in February before theaters began opening back up in earnest. Production on Better Call Saul was halted on Wednesday with everyone involved focused on Odenkirk’s health, and it is not yet known when the show will pick back up.

On behalf of 411, our best wishes to Mr. Odenkirk for a quick and full recovery.
