Breaking Bad Movie to Reportedly Follow Jesse, Aaron Paul to Return

A new report says that Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad film will be a direct sequel following Jesse Pinkman, with Aaron Paul set to return. According to /Film, Paul has signed onto the film, which Gilligan is writing and focuses on “the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom.”

According to the site, the film will be set after the series finale and follows Paul’s Jesse (the kidnapped man) as he escapes Albuquerque. Paul will return to the role that made him an Emmy winner.

No title has been revealed for the film, nor a release date. The previous report noted that production would commence in New Mexico next month.
