Castlevania Studio Teases Third Season

If the animation studio behind Netflix’s Castlevania is being sincere, it looks like a third season is on the way soon. Powerhouse Animation took to Twitter on Monday and shared a screenshot of the show’s Netflix page, suggesting that another season is coming soon.

Netflix originally announced a January 12th release date for the third season, but that date was removed and an official premiere date has not yet been announced. Netflix has yet to comment on the message.

The first two seasons of the animated series are a loose adaptation of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse and stars Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades, James Callis as Alucard, and Graham McTavish as Dracula. The series sees Trevor Belmont setting off to destroy Dracula with the aid of the sorceress Sypha and Alucard, Dracula’s half-vampire son.
