Charlie Cox’s has brought his Daredevil fully into the MCU, and the actor has revealed he knows “something” about the future of the character. Cox reprised his role from the Netflix Marvel series in Spider-Man: No Way Home and told Radio Times that there will be something else for him sometime ahead.

“I know something,” Cox told the outlet. “I don’t know much, but I know there will be something else.”

Cox also talked about how he got the call to reprise his role, saying, “I got a phone call saying, ‘Do you want to come back? Do you want to be in Spider-Man?’ and I was like, ‘Obviously, yeah! That would be amazing. I’m thrilled. I’d love to do that.’ They said ‘Great, we’ll be in touch,’ and then I didn’t hear anything for, like, two months! I did get to the point where I was like, ‘Did I dream this?’ – I definitely got to the point where I was, like, ‘I don’t know what’s gonna happen.’ But then I got a follow-up phone call.”

Cox is one of two actors to reprise their Netflix Marvel roles in the MCU proper alongside Vincent D’Onofrio, who played Kingpin in Hawkeye. The five Netflix Marvel series and the team-up series Defenders are leaving the platform at the end of the month, leading to much speculation about the characters’ future.
