Chris Pine Knows Patty Jenkins’ Plot For Rogue Squadron

Patty Jenkins has Rogue Squadron on her upcoming docket, and Chris Pine says he knows the plot of the film. Pine spoke with Collider promoting Wonder Woman 1984 and discussed working with the director, revealing that she’s told him the plot of the Star Wars film.

“I had spoken to her about, not my involvement, but the story,” Pine said. “She talked to me about it. It sounds really, really great. But I’m ecstatic for her, excited for what she’s about to embark on. If there’s anyone that can reimagine and breathe fresh, new life into it, it’s her.”

Jenkins was announced at Disney Investor Day as directing the film, which is the next Star Wars film to be released and focus on a new generation of starfighter pilots as they earn their wings and risk their lives on a mission.
