Christian Bale in Talks For Thor: Love and Thunder Role

Thor: Love and Thunder is in the process of nabbing a former DC Comics star in Christian Bale. Collider and Deadline both report that Bale, who played Batman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, is in talks to take on an as-yet-unrevealed role in the film, which Taika Waititi is directing.

Bale would join a cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, and Waititi himself as the voice of Korg. The new film will see Portman’s Jane Foster take on the mantle of Thor, loosely following the comic book arc by Jason Aaron.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to open on November 5th, 2021.
