Christina Ricci Joins The Matrix 4

Warner Bros. has quietly added a big name to The Matrix 4 in Christina Ricci. The company released an updated press kit recently for the sequel which included Ricci in the cast list alongside Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Telma Hopkins, Eréndira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Brian J. Smith, and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Details on Ricci’s role, like most of the film, have yet to be revealed. She previously worked with the Wachowskis on Speed Racer. The movie is written by Lana Wachowski, David Mitchell and Aleksander Hemon based on characters created by The Wachowskis. Wachowski will direct the film, which is set for a December 22nd release date.
