Chuck Norris Sues CBS and Sony For $30 Million Over Walker, Texas Ranger
February 2, 2018 | Posted by
TMZ reports that Chuck Norris is suing CBS and Sony for $30 million over profits from Walker, Texas Ranger. His company Top Kick Productions filed new legal documents against the companies for not giving Norris a share of the streaming VOD revenue. Norris claims he’s owed 23% of the profits, as CBS agreed to pay him in 1993. However he hasn’t received that cut from the on-demand revenue. Norris claims that CBS and Sony conspired to promote the series more on on-demand services and less through TV and DVD to avoid paying him. He claims he hasn’t seen any profits from streaming since 2004. He’s suing for breach of contract.
