DC Comics to Resume Shipping New Issues Next Week

It’s been a drought for the past month in terms of comic book material, but DC Comics is looking to fix that starting next week. DC announced that it will begin shipping new issues out beginning April 28th at operating retail stores. This marks the first comics being shipped for either of the “Big Two” since Diamond Comic Distributors stopped shipping at the end of March due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

DC’s announcement notes that “After surveying more than 2,000 stores across the U.S. and Canada, it became clear that many comic book store owners are finding new and creative ways to get books to the fans who want them.” The publisher will utilize alternative shippers to deliver the comics to operating stores; you can check with your local retailer and visit the comic shop locator here to see which stores may carry the titles.

Several comic stories have been keeping open by offering curbside delivery and other such options on back material over the last few weeks. The schedule of available DC titles, which will also available for digital purchase at participating digital retailers, are:
