Percy Jackson’s story isn’t over at Disney+, with the network renewing Percy Jackson and the Olympians for a second season. THR reports that the streaming service has handed down a renewal to the hit series, with the announcement being made during Disney’s quarterly earnings call on Wednesday.

The announcement comes a week after the its first season of the series wrapped. THR notes that the second season will adapt the second novel in the Rick Riordan series, The Sea of Monsters, which involves the titular hero (Walker Scobell) and his colleagues chasing down the Golden Fleece.

The series has been a hit for Disney+ since it launched in December with good critic reviews, strong fan support and — most importantly — good streaming numbers. It stars Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries Aryan Simhadri, Adam Copeland, Glynn Turman, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Megan Mullally, Toby Stephens, the late Lance Reddick, Jason Mantzoukas, Jay Duplass, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Olivea Morton, Suzanne Cryer, Timm Sharp and Timothy Omundson.

“Rich in magic, wonder, adventure and heart, Percy Jackson and the Olympians captivated the imaginations of viewers of all ages everywhere,” Disney Branded Television president Ayo Davis said in a statement about the renewal. “We’re thrilled to embark on an exciting new quest and a season two with Rick Riordan, our fantastic partners at 20th Television, and the exceptional ensemble of cast and creative talent that bring this story to life.”

Riordan added, “I can’t wait to bring the next season of Percy Jackson to Disney+. Raise anchors. Hoist the mainsail. All hands on deck, demigods. We’re heading for the Sea of Monsters!”
