Donald & Stephen Glover To Write Lando Series For Disney+

Donald & Stephen Glover have signed on to write the Lando series for Disney+. Variety reports that the brothers have come on board to write the Star Wars limited series after Justin Simien apparently exited the show. Simien had been on tap to create the show at some point, which has been in the works since December of 2020.

Donald Glover played Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story in 2018. Billy Dee Williams originated the role in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The Glovers are currently in an overall deal with Amazon.
