Donnie Yen Joins The Cast Of Mulan

Deadline reports that Donnie Yen (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) has joined the cast of Disney’s live-action take on their animated film Mulan. He will play Commander Tung, a mentor and teacher for Mulan (played by Liu Yifei). The film will be directed by Niki Caro from a script by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. Bill Kong will executive produce with Chris Bender, J. C. Spink and Jason Reed producing.
