Doom Patrol Renewed For Season Four, Mid-Season Trailer Online
The fan-favorite weirdos of Doom Patrol have plenty of story left to go, as HBO Max has announced a season four renewal for the series. HBO Max announced at DC FanDome that the DC series will return for a fourth season, while also releasing a mid-season trailer looking at the remaining episodes of season three. You can see that trailer below.
Doom Patrol aired its first season on DC Universe, with its second season aired simultaneously there and on HBO Max. It made the full transition to HBO Max with season three. The series stars stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade, Timothy Dalton, Skye Roberts and Michelle Gomez for season three and airs episodes weekly on Thursdays. The season three finale is set for November 11th.
The show is described as follows:
Doom Patrol reimagines one of DC’s most beloved groups of superheroes who all suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of superpowered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. In season three, the Doom Patrol is at a difficult crossroads and each member struggles to face who they are and who they want to be. And things get a whole lot more complicated when Madame Rouge arrives in a time machine with a very specific mission, if only she could remember it.
