Ed Sheeran in Talks for Upcoming Danny Boyle Film

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Ed Sheeran is in talks to appear in a new film from director Danny Boyle, which is a music-themed comedy. The project is being written by writer-director Richard Curtis (About Time, Love Actually).

English singer Ed Sheeran is in talks to appear in director Danny Boyle’s upcoming music-themed comedy, according to the Daily Mail. The Working Title/Universal Pictures film has a script from Richard Curtis, writer and director of Love Actually.

Sheeran has previously appeared in Game of Thrones in a small role, Bridge Jones’s Baby, The Bastard Executioner, and Home and Away. The project is described as a story about a man who wakes up one day and finds out that he is the only one who can remember the songs of the seminal rock band, The Beatles. Sheeran is going to reportedly to write some new music for the film, which will also include Beatles hits.

Sheeran is joining Lily James and Himesh Patel for the cast. Kate McKinnon is also in talks to join the cast of the film. Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner are producing the film for Working Title with Matt Wilkinson and Bernie Bellew. Curtis and Boyle will also produce the project.
