Eddie Murphy has some big hits in his career, but there are a couple of “could have beens” he recently discussed in Ghostbusters and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. Murphy appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon promoting his SNL appearance that went down over the weekend and talked about why he didn’t take offer from Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis to be in Ghostbusters, as well as why he turned down the role that went to Bob Hoskins in Roger Rabbit.

“Yes, but because I did Beverly Hills Cop,” he said of not doing Ghostbusters. “It wasn’t like I turned it down, in as much as I wasn’t available because I was doing this other movie. The only movie that I have turned down that became a big hit was Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I was going to be the Bob Hoskins dude, and I was like, ‘What? Animation and people? That sounds like bulls**t to me. Now every time I see it, I feel like an idiot.”

Murphy also talked about roller skating at Prince’s house and having dinner with Marlon Brando after 48 HRS. was released. You can see the full video below:
