Evangeline Lilly Not Keen on The Idea of a Lost Revival

Evangeline Lilly isn’t big on the idea of reviving or rebooting Lost. Lilly, who played lead heroine Kate Austin on the famous ABC mystery drama, spoke to EW while promoting Ant-Man & The Wasp about persistant rumors that the network may bring back the series in some format.

“The thing about reboots and remakes is that I don’t like them in general, period,” she told the site. “I want people to leave Star Wars alone! I did love Rogue One, as an aside. But for the most part, I don’t usually love them. I feel like it’s just tainting something that’s precious. I’ve said I don’t want to do things in the past and I’ve done them — you know, never say never — but sitting where I am today, my assumption is no.”

ABC has regularly denied plans to bring back the series, with president Channing Dungey telling TV Line in January, “We have not had any official discussions about that. It’s something that’s on a list of, ‘Wouldn’t that be great if… ,’ but at this point it’s only at that place.”
