Fathom Bringing Karate Kid to Theaters For One-Night Only

Fathom Events is bringing The Karate Kid for an exclusive one-night screening along with the first two episodes of Cobra Kai. The company announced that they are teaming with YouTube for the screening, which will take place on April 25th starting at 7 PM local time in 700 theaters across the U.S.

A complete list of the participating theaters will be available here starting tomorrow, when tickets go on sale.

In YouTube Red’s Cobra Kai series, now living in the affluent hills of Encino, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) leads an enviable life with his beautiful family, while running a successful string of car dealerships throughout the valley. Meanwhile, his high school adversary, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), whose life has taken a rocky turn, seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. Their lives inevitably become intertwined and the rivalry is reignited, setting forth the next generation of “karate kids.”
