NEON Sets February 2025 Release For Stephen King Adaptation The Monkey

Osgood Perkins’ take on Stephen King’s short story “The Monkey” has a release date, courtesy of NEON Studios. The Studio, which is releasing Perkins’ Longlegs next month, has announced that The Monkey will arrive in theaters on February 21st, 2025.
The film is written and directed by Perkins and is adapted from the short story from King’s 1985 anthology The Skeleton Crew. It stars Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Christian Convery, Colin O’Brien, Rohan Campbell and Sarah Levy, and is described as follows:
In The Monkey, when twin brothers Hal and Bill discover their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths starts occurring all around them. The brothers decide to throw the monkey away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years. But when the mysterious deaths begin again, the brothers must reunite to find a way to destroy the monkey for good before it takes the lives of everyone close to them.
