First Predator: Badlands Trailer Teases Heavy Action, Odd Couple Pairing

The first trailer for Predator: Badlands has arrived, with some heavy action scenes and a buddy cop dynamic between a Predator and a Weyland-Yutani android. 20th Century Fox released the trailer on Monday for the upcoming sci-fi action film, and you can check it out below.

The trailer lays out the story as a young Yautja named Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) conducting a hunt on an alien planet runs across Thia (Elle Fanning), an android who offers to help. They proceed to hunt on what Thia calls “the most dangerous planet in the universe” and it looks like there are more than alien threats about.

The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who directed Prey and this year’s Predator: Killer of Killers. It releases on November 7th and is described as follows:

Predator: Badlands is set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator, outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.
