The First Trailer For Jay & Silent Bob Reboot Is Here

Snoochie boochie, folks; it’s time to head back into the View Askewniverse with the first (very NSFW) trailer for Jay & Silent Bob Reboot. Kevin Smith unveiled the trailer for the first time at San Diego Comic-Con before posting it to his YouTube account. You can see the trailer below for the film, which stars Smith, Jason Mewes, Brian O’Halloran, Jason Lee, Shannon Elizabeth, Rosario Dawson, Chris Hemsworth, Joe Mangianello, Joey Lauren Adams and just about everyone else.

The trailer lays out the storyline fairly well, as the titular hetero lifemates learn that a reboot of the Bluntman & Chronic movie based on the comic (itself based on their lives) is in the works as a gritty, disastrious-looking effort starring Melissa Benoist as a gender-swapped Chronic and Val Kilmer as Bluntman. They decide to once again head to Hollywood to try and stop the film from being made. On the way, they encounter Jay’s old girlfriend Justice (Elizabeth) and the Millennium Falcon, the daughter he never knew he had (Harley Quinn Smith) who tags along.

The film is set to release on October 15th.
