Glen Powell Faces a Deadly Gauntlet in the Official Trailer for The Running Man

Glen Powell is in the fight of his life in the newly released official trailer for the remake of The Running Man, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. You can check out the newly revealed trailer below.

Set in a dystopia near-future society, The Running Man is the top-rated show on television. It’s a deadly competition where contestants, aka Runners, have to survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins, with every move broadcast to a bloodthirsty public. Each day brings a higher cash reward. Desperate to help his ailing daughter, working-class Ben Richards is persuaded by the charming, yet ruthless, producer Dan Killian (Josh Brolin), to enter the game as a last resort.

Ben’s defiance, instincts, and grit transform him into a fan favorite and a threat to the entire system. While ratings of his exploits skyrocket, so does the danger. Ben now must outwit not only the hunters, but a nation addicted to seeing him fall.

The upcoming film also stars William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera, Daniel Ezra, Jayme Lawson, and Colman Domingo. Edgar Wright directs from a script he co-wrote with Simon Bacall. It’s produced by Simon Kinberg and Nira Park.

The Running Man hits theaters, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Premium Large Format, and IMAX on November 7.
