Netflix may have decided not to move forward with the final season of GLOW, but the cast is encouraging fans to push for a film that would conclude the series. As previously reported, Netflix decided to cancel the planned fourth and final season of the show due to the COVID-19 pandemic raising costs to an unprofitable level for the eries. During a reunion video posted over the weekend, the cast of the show talked about its end and asked fans to use the (already-going) hashtag #SAVEGLOW to push Netflix to do a final film that would conclude the series.

You can see the full reunion video below. Netflix had said at the time of cancellation:

“We’ve made the difficult decision not to do a fourth season of GLOW due to COVID, which makes shooting this physically intimate show with its large ensemble cast especially challenging We are so grateful to creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, Jenji Kohan and all the writers, cast and crew for sharing this story about the incredible women of GLOW with us and the world.”

The series won three Emmy awards and was nominated for a total of 18 during its three-season run.
