Greg Nicotero On Board For The New Spawn Movie

It was announced today via press release that Walking Dead Director and Effects Specialist, Greg Nicotero has been tapped for Todd McFarlane’s New Spawn movie. Nicotero has come on board, with his company KNB EFX to create the new Spawn design for the upcoming McFarlane/Blumhouse Spawn feature film. McFarlane, Nicotero, and KNB EFX Group, worked together on the 1997 Spawn movie.

Jamie Foxx has been cast as Spawn and Jeremy Renner has been tapped to play Twitch. The new adaptation of Spawn will be a gritty, R-rated reimagining, that marks McFarlane’s film directorial debut.
