Game of Thrones could be coming to animated form, with HBO Max reportedly considering a potential animated drama series in the world of the hit series. Deadline reports that the streaming service is in the very early stages of exploring a potential animated series, with no concept or creative team set at this time. HBO Max had no comment on the story.

The possible animated series would be the latest among a host of planned Game of Thrones projects in the work including the prequel series House of the Dragon which aims to arrive in 2022, a series adaptation of the Dunk & Egg novellas in early development, and more.
