The Batman is set to make its streaming premiere on HBO Max early next week. WarnerMedia announced on Monday that the blockbuster superhero film will arrive on the streaming service on April 18th, with an airing on HBO set for April 23rd at 8 PM ET.

The premiere date is not surprising, as Warner Bros. is bringing its theatrical releases to HBO Max at around a 45-day window. Last month the HBO website briefly listed the film as arriving on HBO Max on April 19th before being taken down.

The film, which is directed by Matt Reeves, has been a mega-hit for Warner Bros. with $359 million domestically and $736.2 million worldwide since it opened in early March. It stars Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Andy Serkis, and Peter Sarsgaard and is described as follows:

When a killer targets Gotham City’s elite with a series of sadistic machinations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World’s Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle, The Penguin, Carmine Falcone and The Riddler. As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans becomes clear, The Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.
