HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon is starting to set up for its eventual filming, and in a different location than the original series. The always-reliable Winter Is Coming reports that HBO has set up a production headquarters in Leavesden Studios in Watford in England.

That’s a different location than the original series, which was set up in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The location is the same as where Warner Bros. is filming Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

House of the Dragon is based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood and will chronicle the rise and the downfall of the Targaryens, who is the only family of dragon lords to survive the Doom of Valyria. It will take place 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and is created by George R.R. Martin and Ryan Condal, with Miguel Sapochnik set to direct the pilot and additional episodes. Sapochnik and Condal are the co-showrunners of the show, which is aiming for a 2022 debut.
